Sad news? 😢 My little furry intern Wilma has unfortunately been falling asleep more often while working, and I’ve been getting more and more recommendations to fire her. However, Wilma’s big dream is to become the first UX design dog, and she doesn’t want to give up on her dream. She asked ChatGPT for a good strategy and got some ideas… To see how it goes, tune in to the next episode... It’s definitely exciting to see how much trained empathy the new ChatGPT 4.0 model has.
I highly recommend you give it a try and test it out. What should Wilma do?
The new ChatGPT-4.0 doesn’t just pretend to be empathetic by laughing, making rhetorical pauses, or telling you how cute your dog is... 👉 It can create 3D content, like for spatial design and Apple Vision Pro.
👉 It summarizes your videos, like transcribing meetings.
👉 It develops fully consistent characters, perfect for storyboards.
👉 It analyzes data, visualizes it, and lets you make interactive changes.
👉 It helps with writing and editing, making your content polished and professional.
👉 It assists with coding, providing solutions and debugging tips. By the way, I recorded a whole YouTube video where I go through all the features and explain what’s particularly exciting for designers. Check it out on my YouTube channel (ux.patricia)! I’d love to know what you think about it!
I’ve been experimenting with ChatGPT-4.0 over the past few days and I’m genuinely impressed by the new level of empathy it brings. Whether it’s handling rhetorical questions, incorporating small pauses, or even laughing, it feels almost too real, and you can forget you’re talking to a computer 🥺 Here are a few use cases for the new model, which will soon be integrated into many functions via API: Mental support: Providing assistance for daily challenges, therapy accompaniment, and more. Virtual friend: Similar to the concept in the movie Her.
Unexpected help: It surprised me when I thought I was locked out of my apartment. Strategic advice: It helped me develop a great strategy to handle a client who hadn’t paid their invoice. Understanding my dog: And of course, it helped me better understand my dog. I’m curious to hear your thoughts! How do you feel about this new level of empathy alongside its other exciting features? Share your thoughts in the comments! What are your thoughts on the new “empathy” in ChatGPT 4o
OpenAI has announced GPT-4o, their newest flagship model that can reason across audio, vision, and text in real-time. Here’s why this is so interesting:
* Natural Conversations: The interactions with GPT-4o feel incredibly natural. It laughs at jokes and responds in a human-like manner.
* Multimodal Capabilities: GPT-4o accepts inputs in any combination of text, audio, and images, and generates outputs in any combination of text, audio, and images.
* Super Fast Response Rates: With response times as quick as 232 milliseconds, it matches human response rates. 💡 Use Cases That I Find Super Exciting:
* AI Meeting Assistant: It can join meetings, summarize information, and even help guide the conversation. Imagine training it on your meeting content and having it lead your meetings! 😄
* Live Speech Translation: Useful for both business connections and personal use.
* Interview Practice and Feedback: A great tool for improving your interview skills.
* Assistance with Various Tasks: From building a bookshelf to cooking, it can offer guidance on almost anything.
* Sparring Partner for Ideas: Perfect for brainstorming and refining your ideas.
The new model is already available, so feel free to test it out and let me know what you think!
The latest model is free, giving all users access to the best features. 🚀✨
