Chatgpt announces their new way for anyone to create a tailored version of ChatGPT to be more helpful in their daily life, at specific tasks, at work, or at home.
It’s similar to how we naturally turn to specific individuals for advice on certain matters – like consulting a doctor for health issues. This way, you can tailor ChatGPT to become more specialized, making it easier to manage your activities without feeling swamped by too many options. It’s about simplifying your interaction with technology, giving you a sense of having a dedicated advisor for distinct aspects of your life.
here are three UX points about the personalization of ChatGPT that are particularly noteworthy:
1️⃣ User Comfort: Personalizing ChatGPT can make users more comfortable because it becomes like a tool that’s made just for them. It’s similar to how a well-organized workspace can help people feel at ease and find what they need without any hassle.
2️⃣ Ease of Use: When ChatGPT is customized, it’s easier for users to talk to it and get the help they need. It’s like having shortcuts to your favorite apps or contacts on your phone; you get to what you want faster and with less effort.
3️⃣ User Satisfaction: People tend to enjoy things that feel like they’re made just for them. When users can shape ChatGPT to fit their own needs, they’re likely to be happier with the experience, because it feels more personal, like a service that knows them well.
If you activate "Dalle 3" in the premium version settings, you can directly create your own images in ChatGPT from OpenAI.
Let`s try it with an example:
In my wildest dreams, I imagine a Disney Pixar movie centered around UX. The movie teaches kids everything about the Internet, that apps and webpages are not always user-centric and might even be dangerous: Sometimes try to get your data or make you purchase things you don`t want to but digital products can also be great and help people in their daily life.
And there comes the main character in the place.
Picture this: a little dog, (or should I say my intern Wilma) 🐕
→ tackling tricky UX challenges → conducting engaging user interviews → and saving users from the clutches of evil dark patterns and endless clicks.
This dog is on a mission: Make digital products better 💪
Come on, how cool would that be? 🐕
Anyway, Yesterday, I played around with ChatGPT and its Dalle 3 integration and crafted some awesome Disney Pixar movie posters featuring Wilma (my dog) as the main character of this movie!
Here are some things I found interesting:
1️⃣ Fonts are displayed correctly about 80% of the time. You can integrate your own text or let ChatGPT surprise you with its ideas.
2️⃣ Logos: The second thing that really caught me off guard was that ChatGPT, or rather Dalle 3, integrates logos, including Disney`s. I`m pretty sure that`s legally questionable, so be careful if you plan to use the images commercially. That`s something to be wary of 😳
What do you think first, about my movie idea, second have you tried the Dallee 3 integration yet?
